Victoria Beckham's modelling venture

By Bang, Updated: 11/8/2009

Victoria Beckham is reportedly in talks with Simon Fuller to start their own modelling agency.

Victoria Beckham is set to start her own modelling agency.

The singer-turned-designer - who already has her own successful fashion label - is reportedly in talks with her manager Simon Fuller to set up a new business venture in New York.

A source said: 'Simon knows that Victoria is very savvy when it comes to fashion. His first foray into fashion was to team up designer Roland Mouret and Victoria, which was a huge success.

'Victoria is a key asset to Simon and he wants her to take on a major role.'

Simon - who was the manger of Victoria's former group the Spice Girls - already has a 51 per cent controlling stake in London agency Storm Models and wants something similar in the US.

Meanwhile, Victoria's eldest son Brooklyn is about to embark on his first charity trip with Save The Children.

Brooklyn - her 10-year-old son with soccer star husband David Beckham - will visit poverty-stricken US state Kentucky after learning about it at his exclusive school in Los Angeles.

A source said: 'Victoria and David sat down and had a chat with Brooklyn about charity and what good it could do and he completely got it.

'Victoria was thrilled Brooklyn wanted to go on the trip. The Beckhams want all three boys to have a real sense of value. She thinks it will help Brooklyn keep his feet on the ground too.'

The couple - who live in Beverly Hills - have two other sons, Romeo, seven, and four-year-old Cruz.

ONE SATURDAY AFTERNOON

NOVEMBER 7, 2009

I really wanna write a blog as I got back home earlier. Though I was so exhausted so I took a nap.

Refueled...here I am again.

Lemme start ...

SOMETIMES I DEMAND PERFECTION FOR THIS SEEMINGLY IMPERFECT WORLD.

Why?

Here it is:

1) I was looking for a SEWING MACHINE for something ambitious that I wanna make, but unfortunately, I wasn't able to get one today. Too bad.

2) The judges in a talent search that I watched this afternoon were so irritating. People should choose first the judges before launching a talent search. Can you imagine the products of incompetent JUDGES. It could be a disaster. I'm so bad....Well, THAT'S GIVEN.

3) Most of the contestants in a talent search can't make even just a good sentence. Darlin' for you to be able to become a hit to people, you should at least fix your enunciation.

4) Though I love these contestants: SAMANTHA, JC and the cute guy who has the same name as mine MARK.

I supposed you know what talent search is this?

Hate me if you want. After all, it's your prerogative.

If there's someone who has revolutionized and still changing radically the face of fashion, that is the FAME MONSTER Lady Gaga.

She was catapulted as a fashion icon rejuvenating the dashed hope of the big names in the fashion industry. I love Gaga wearing all these outfits. She really has a good taste in fashion.

I really love Lady Gaga !!! =)

MONEY AIN’T ALL FOR FLIPINOS

by MARK PILLOS

Realization perfused to me that there are good things being a Filipino.

Mr. James, a Korean friend of our Executive Director said that “I envy Filipinos because they can enjoy life to the fullest.”

It’s been a long time since I felt good things of being a Filipino. That was when I was young. When a candy or lollipop could cure anything wrong. But as I grow up and saw reality- where government is treated as a famous brand of a toilet paper- smile seldom suffice my ambitious dreams.

I thank Mr. James for letting me realize that life is not all about living in a mansion, wearing designer’s clothes, and splurging every convenience of lying on a bed of fortune.

...as I grow up and saw reality- where government is treated as a famous brand of a toilet paper- smile seldom suffice my ambitious dreams.

It’s about being happy. Not because you have that scrumptious food from Paparazzi or coffee from Starbucks.

Many typhoons have whipped Philippines. Many of these have paralyzed the country’s economy. But Filipinos can still smile despite of these.

Recently, Philippines ranked as the 14th Happiest Country in the world. It is the only Asian country included in the Top 20.

Now I know why I was easily affected by the words of Mr. James. After all, I’m still proud being a Filipino.
