Alexis John Go is a man of thought. He has a lot of things to share and spill with just a single question. I consider him a person who is open to a sensible conversation. Never did he answer my questions trivially. He never hesitate divulging information that could really lead one to his personal life.
AJ was born on the 23rd of June in Kamias, Quezon City. Aside from modeling, he works as a Corporate Earnings and Investment Specialist.
I wanted my blog to contain my own words based on an interviewee’s points and views, but I want to save his words, i.e. specific words from his mind to be presented as they are. So, I opt to present what he said with couple of questions that I asked.
Check out how he sensibly answered the questions that I asked to him:
Mark: What is the greatest achievement that you can consider so far?
AJ: [The greatest achievement that I can consider is] being able to obtain my broadcasting degree while splitting my complex time for school and work at the Araneta Coliseum (where I have been promoted as one of their Junior Gate Supervisors, the youngest in the history of operations there) just about to finish schooling, as my parents were unfortunately laid-off to the factory they were working for when I was in second year.
Mark: What do you wish/hope to have or to do?
AJ: [I] hope for my dream destinations domestically such [as] the islands of Batanes and Camiguin. [I] was able to explore the exotic Palawan last summer and [I] just actually got back home 6 days ago from Panglao, Bohol and will be beach-bumming next month in Mactan, Cebu. [I] wish to have the job of Secretary Ace Durano of the Department of Tourism: WOW Philippines campaign.
"Naughtiest thing [that I've done]? Hmmm can I just keep it a secret? (laughed)... [It] happened in the white sand beach of Boracay. What you have in mind is as pretty good as mine (laughed). Lemme just leave you hangin’ there."-Alex
Mark: Describe yourself in a single word.
AJ: backpacker (His love of going to many places explains why. –Mark)
Mark: What's the naughtiest thing that you've ever done?
AJ: Naughtiest thing? Hmmm can I just keep it a secret? (laughed)... [It] happened in the white sand beach of Boracay. What you have in mind is as pretty good as mine (laughed). Lemme just leave you hangin’ there.
Mark: What makes you happy?
AJ: Traveling makes me happy; [The] world renowned French fries of McDonalds with 5 sachets of their tomato ketchup; every 10th and 25th of the month, i.e. payday.
Mark: What makes you sad?
AJ: Missin’ my lola who just passed away last year and the sudden demise of a very close college-friend just last August as well.
Mark: What are your grooming secrets as a model?
AJ: I never fail to wash my face before going to bed using nothing but water and going to the gym 3 times a week . But I stopped as of the moment.
AJ told me that his ultimate plan is to manage his own travel agency.
He considers himself a frustrated guitar player as his love to sing reverberates in his idiosyncrasy. Another frustration that he can never get rid of is that being a steward, because his vision is 200-190 (must have a 20-20 vision). He claims that he doesn’t know how to swim, too. So, he is planning to enroll for a swimming class this December for him to explore the depths of the Tubataha Reef, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. He says that he will do that without dealing with life jackets.
Lure this twenty three years old no niggling hottie in a sense-packed conversation he’ll never be bored with, because he himself could be the host of your show. =)
