My Life as a Teacher

I was so happy when I was immediately hired to a private school just after graduation in college. Just after my demo lesson, the principal congratulated me because I was the one who was hired.

I remember the day when I considered myself so young in my profession. I felt this when I worked in a government school. Oh, well forget about that. It's not worth mentioning anyway, i.e. my life in a government school. Spilling things about this will just ruin my day.

My life is so different now. There are instances when some students shout. There are instances when students can't understand what you're talking about, and this pisses you a lot. But what can I do? I'm a teacher. Who could I teach to if all students know what I'm gonna teach.

Teaching Koreans has made a big difference in my life. I started at Metro Korea (near DLSU Taft), but I can't tell where I'm working now.

Here are some of my Korean students:

(I'll post other photos later)
