10 Random Things About Me

by MARK PILLOS

1) I learned how to draw at an early age. My first drawing was a bird. I just copied   what my mother drew. I did that before I entered kindergarten.

2) I love chocolates. I always want to eat chocolate since then especially when I'm in a bad mood.

3) I used to be a cartoonist when I was in high school and college. I love drawing since then. My ambitious dream made me a staff  of school papers since high school. I always wanted to write but my advisers wanted me to focus on cartooning. When I become a teacher, I'm no longer the cartoonist who attends schools press conferences, but the adviser who trained budding cartoonists. Luckily, I made them (my students) won.

4) I used to be a teacher in a private and government school. I don't wanna talk about this as much as possible. =)

5) I love fashion designing. I started designing when I was in elementary. I just focused on it when more and more people appreciate my designs. This was invigorated when I was a teacher- when I designed the costumes of my students in plays. Including pageants that they participated in.

6) I made an unfinished short story when I was 9 or 10 years old. I made this during the graduation day of my oldest sister. I did it on my bed. I didn't know how to continue it so I left it unfinished. I misplaced the manuscript, so I didn't  continue. I just accidentally found it when I graduated in college.

7) I had my first painting when I was in grade 3 (9 years old). I used to watch my sister (second sister) everytime that she made paintings in her drafting class then. I asked her what colors to mix and how to use them. Not to forget the different strokes using  variety of paint brushes. Now, I claim that I'm better than her. hehe

8. When I was a student, I always write lenghty compositions. As a student, I seemed to have a lot of things to write.

9) I'm a Virgoan but  claiming to be Leo. I'm a Caspian actually. When I was young, I was Leo. But now I'm a Virgo. Ask the stars why.

10) I love teaching no matter how hard it is. No need to write something about this.

Dingdong Dantes, My Saturday and a Screaming Bitch

by MARK PILLOS

Dantes began his career as a child model, appearing in a famous dairy product commercial when he was two years old. Several other commercials followed before he became part of an all-male dance group called Abztract Dancers, with his friend and fellow actor, Dino Guevarra, and his cousin and fellow actor, Arthur Solinap. Their group became regulars on shows Eat Bulaga and That's Entertainment, causing him to regard legendary starmaker, German Moreno like his own father.

As an actor, he debuted on GMA Network's highly popular youth-oriented flick T.G.I.S. (Thank God It's Sabado) when he was 17, under the name Raphael Dantes. His role as the dashing boy-next-door Iñaki was massively well received and contributed much to his growing popularity. His pairing with Antoinette Taus, whom he was romantically involved with, resulted in films like Honey My Love So Sweet and I'm Sorry My Love, and television programmes including Anna Karenina. Dingdong Dantes has been a sex symbol for most females and gays in the Philippines since the start of his boom in the Philippine television. As I can remember, the public started to appreciate him in fantaserye Encantadia (which is a big no-no in our house 'coz my mom watches Dugong in Marina. funny! ), or I just started noticing him there because of the great costumes that they used. I love Encantadia then though I'm not watching it.

Earlier, I was at a particular Mall. Dingdong Dantes happen to be there for a mall show. There was a teen bitch shouting beside me. Screaming like being burnt in hell. I wanted to shot her dead...grrr.  I know Dingdong is fuckin' hot but shouting beside me is a no-no...Who has given the right to ruin my constitution...
Only if I could cut her throat and pull her tongue out, I could have done that.
