FEATURED MODEL: DANIEL MATSUNAGA

by MARK PILLOS

Twenty year old Brazilian-Japanese model Daniel Matsunaga has been drawing sensation since his first step to the Philippines. There are a lot of women screaming for his name especially when he was chosen as one of the sexiest bachelors by Cosmopolitan Philippines. I first saw Daniel in a toothpaste commercial. Then he appeared to several magazines in the country.

This hunky hot guy is dreaming to penetrate the local show business, and somehow learning to speak Tagalog for him to be able to get a ticket for a faster way towards that dream.

With his charismatic looks, he has experiences worth boasting. He has had modeling experiences in Cambodia, China, Indonesia, Malaysia, Taiwan, Thailand, Singapore and Hong Kong. Now he is in the Philippines getting more and more approval from people loving his stand out magnetism. But even if this guy has had a lot of stints, he still remains to be humble. He knows that there are a lot of good looking models out there, but he never has planned to compete. Instead befriend them because he reasons out that models are different from each other and that he doesn’t need to consider them as rival. I now agree that this guy is such a good one to keep. He is hottie hot hunky even without trying to be.

He likes here in the Philippines. He stressed out to Garage mag that "Right now I think I will stay here longer just to try, you know, the market. I’ve been learning Tagalog, but I just started lessons so I don’t know much Tagalog yet. "

When asked by Garage what his career dreams are, he answered, "My dream is to become an actor and then help my family in Brazil. They’re all in Brazil right now and [I want to] support them."

You will really love this guy who treasures his family very much.

AS AN ACTOR

Want to delve deep into the life of Aljur Abrenica? Here’s what I got:

Aljur started on the reality TV show Starstruck back in 2006 at GMA 7. He has this friend who has an extra application form, so he was tagged along for the audition at SM Clark.

He used to be a varsity basketball player, and a school vocalist of a band called Don Bosconians.

He dreamt to become a singer, but destiny has pushed him to be an actor. He said that being an actor has changed his life a lot. He became more mature in many ways. If then, he only takes a jeepney, now he has his own car.

He appeared in Boys Next Door, Zaido: Pulis Pangkalawakan, Dyesebel, Luna Mystika, Dapat Ka Bang Mahalin, SOP, and All My Life.

This hottie is a fan of Aga Muhlach. He reasoned out that he wanted to be like him because he has everything. That he seldom gets father roles despite his being a father to two kids. Instead he is teamed up with teen actresses.

Like every actor’s dream, he wants to be a box office king someday.

He admitted that he was not into fashion. But as he sees the demands in show business, he is beginning to embrace it as tight as he could. He recently became a ramp model in Philippine Fashion Week together with ABS-CBN stars, as part of Bench family.

What’s New?

Watch out for his new fantasy TV series to be aired on January 10, 2010. He will be paired with Kris Bernal. The cast includes Emilio Garcia, Eula Valdez, Steff Prescott, Bubbles Paraiso, Chynna Hortaleza, Bianca King and many more.

AS A LOVER

With his magnetic gaze and scrumptious heat, any woman could melt like a butter and fall like a soggy pasta.

He said to Cosmo that "It isn’t all about destiny – loving involves a lot of decision-making. But I love hard, so it’s definitely worth it."

Entrap this 19-year old Aries with your pretty peepers and soft, touch worthy legs. Eat him through your web of sensible conversation.
